Educating, empowering, encouraging

Wales Trip a Success

After much deliberation and planning, we set off for Wales for an inspiring and educational three days away. A farm visit, a day at the Royal Welsh Show and a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens, all in the company of a wonderful group of women.

At South East Women in Farming Ireland, our aim is to provide Irish rural and farm women with opportunities to network, learn from each other, gain support and share experiences.

We hope that by coming together in a spirit of sisterhood and friendship that we con better ourselves and others.

If you tickle the earth with a hoe, she laughs with a harvest.
Douglas Jerrold

"Very few women are represented in Irish farm organisations, despite their active involvement on the ground... We need to  explore ways to encourage and inspire farm women to come forward and get involved."
